About the role
Innovative Tech Labs (ITL) is a fast-moving development shop that builds and manages technology solutions across multiple industries — from retail and hospitality to malls and technology companies. We work on a diverse portfolio of live products, and we move fast.
We're looking for a sharp, backend-leaning fullstack engineer to join our Nairobi team. You'll work across a range of real products used by real people, take genuine ownership of your work, and build alongside a team that cares about doing things right.
What you'll bring
- —4+ years of fullstack development experience, with a strong backend focus
- —Solid command of Python, ReactJS, Docker, and AWS
- —Database and ORM experience — PostgreSQL or MySQL
- —Comfortable in a Linux development environment
- —Strong problem-solving instincts — you debug with structure, not guesswork
- —Clear communicator who can work well within a small, collaborative team
Nice to have
- —Exposure to AI tools or models
- —Experience integrating with external systems — ERP platforms or similar
